Our Design Engineers and technicians work with SAR crews to collaborate on configurations and solutions that are flexible, lightweight, safe, and durable. We provide out-of-the-box and customized solutions that scale for budget and operational flexibility.

Equipment Wall

Heli-One developed a medical or equipment wall that is modular in format which allows for maximum crew customization and efficiency. The modular medical wall accommodates equipment that can be reconfigured quickly and to the crew’s optimal placement. This modification can be installed with a turnaround time of 14 days.

Medical Rack for Seat

Heli-One offers a removable medical equipment rack for cabin seats for ad-hock ambulance or SAR missions. The rack is placed in any normal passenger seat and is secured by seatbelt. The rack is fully customizable for vital equipment and crew requirements.

AW169 Stretcher Installation

Heli-One has developed a stretcher installation solution for the AW169 helicopter. This solution is designed to accommodate ergonomic handling of the stretcher where flexibility and urgency is a priority. The positioning of the stretcher allows for quick adjustment, patient comfort, and transportation best practices.

MEDEVAC

Essential for rescue operations, the MEDEVAC permits the rapid transport of seriously injured persons, from the scene of an accident to the medical center.

Heli-One offers additional Medevac (Medical Evacuation) installation for helicopters. Medevac consists of:

Standard seat track pattern installation
NATO Stretcher installation in fwd L/H and aft R/H part of cabin
LSTAT medical stretcher installation in aft R/H and/or fwd R/H part of cabin
Sicma single seats installation in fwd R/H and aft L/H part of cabin
Improved Cabin Lighting
Floor protection covering
Interior trim upgrade in aft cabin
Medical Equipment and necessary power outlets
Installation of miscellaneous equipment.

Cabin Configuration Installation

This video shows technicians at our Norwegian facility installing various cabin equipment in an Airbus AS332L1. The equipment is installed without tools, fairly quickly with minimal crew.

S-92 Hover Trim Controller Extension

Heli-One developed an operational aid for S-92 hoist operators that have difficulties with the thumb stick on the hoist pendant. The controller is small and troublesome to use in operational settings (with one hand and gloves on). The Heli-One solution is a joystick extension to enable better feel and control for the operator, enabling more precise aircraft positioning and movement.

Doppler Replacement for AS332L/L1 with Auto Hover

Heli-One is developing a GPS-augmented AHRS solution to replace the Doppler unit in Airbus AS332L/L1 (with auto hover function). The new AHRS solution is more reliable, stable and lighter than the current Doppler Unit and is compatible with auto hover functions.
